I’ll be reworking this website into my ‘pro’ site very soon. Maybe later today depending how my painting projects pan out.
You can still keep up with me on Flickr, Tumblr and LiveJournal–I go by ‘merrycalliope’ on all those places.
Thanks for watching!

Who needs a telephoto lens? I need a telephoto lens.
There are so many bald eagles, osprey and hawks around here because we are located close to Marymoor Park (Redmond, WA). I wish I had a good lens to photograph them. This is right off the deck of my townhouse.

Spiderbunny Games
Originally uploaded by Merry Calliope
People like me, we carry little game studios around in our heads. Mine is called Spiderbunny Games and we make little browser games you all can secretly waste time on whilst at work. ~_^
Mostly done in Illustrator with texture and text and other things starting with ‘T’ added in Photoshop.

I have a thing about people-faced deer. I lurves them.
More experimenting with embroidery. This is very simple. Just backstitch and sort of sashiko style for the spots on the body.
I got too into making the tiniest stitches possible before I realized it actually didn’t look that good and made the lines look really wobbly. Oops! Oh well. ^o^

Halloween 2008
Originally uploaded by Merry Calliope
For our 1st anniversary my mom gave us ‘paper’….these cute Halloween plates and napkins (also cups and cocktail napkins, not shown).
There’s even more food in the kitchen…the cheese is present because I set it out to warm a little before guests arrive.
Pardon the messy background. I dream of the day the dining room isn’t also my computer/art/sewing.craft room. ^o^
